I've always want to make gravy but I never have the drippings with some roasts in the crockpot on steak. I was excited when I found this recipe because I could just use chicken stock instead. The only thing I did different was add a little Kitchen Bouquet. This wasn't the best gravy I have had, but it was pretty good considering no drippings. I added a lot of salt and pepper. And no brandy of course :-)
